Ok so i've been seeing a lot of terms in forum threads that i dont know what they mean, i was wondering if there was a thread that could tell me what they mean like fore example LC, PS, MOI, SS necro, ect. I could figure out some basics like UW = under world and FoW = Fissure of Woe, but yea if there is a thread or if someone could give me a 101 lesson it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

To expand on what jiggles is saying, those are all abbreviations of various skills that are often used for shorthand for an entire bar.
Also keep in mind that sometimes all these abbreviations can get very confusing and change over time. For example, in jiggles link, MoI stands for the skill, mantra of inscriptions. However, now it stands for the skill mark of insecurity, because mark of insecurity has become the more popular. Another example... SF can stand for Sorrow's Furnace (a location) Searing Flames (an elite fire magic skill) or Shadow Form (an elite assassin skill) You can usually tell what people mean when there is conflicting meanings by context/location. Generally speaking, if you type in the acronym into the guild wars wiki (a great site if you haven't found it) http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page You will automatically get redirected to the right page. |
